Born with cystic fibrosis, Josh was given a 10 per cent chance of surviving his first night due to complications. Growing up, he was told he wouldn’t make 30. Now 35, he’s a World Record Holder, Speaker & Performance Coach. At 29, Josh completed the ‘Worlds Fittest Man Challenge’. The following year he became the first, and only man, to lift 1,000,000kg in under 24 hours to raise awareness for cystic fibrosis. In 2019, Josh took part in his first triathlon, swimming 21 miles (1,353 lengths) at Dover Leisure Centre, cycling from Dover to St James’s Palace, where he was invited by the then Prince of Wales to rest and eat, before running from London to Cardiff, raising money for CF Warriors and Rays of Sunshine. Through his Lift Club – lift-club.co.uk – Josh is on a mission to give others a ‘Lift’, using tried and tested tools and techniques to unlock the potential others may not realise they have.
